ABOUT ME

I am a registered psychologist with a Ph.D. in Psychology from Simon Fraser University. I enjoy working with clients from young children to adults throughout their lifespans. I draw on many modalities in my work, such as attachment-based approaches, CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness-based approaches, and motivational interviewing.

I bring warm, welcoming, and empathetic energy to the therapeutic relationship and use a client-centered approach to meet each client where they are. I'm passionate about helping my clients meet their therapeutic goals and believe that my role is to provide each client with the necessary skills to cope with their challenges while providing feedback that allows for a deeper understanding of their experience.

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three young girls. I am passionate about living an active and balanced lifestyle. Before becoming a psychologist, I attended university on a golf scholarship and was named an Academic All-American for my academic and athletic success. Being active continues to be an important part of my life. As a family, we enjoy spending as much time as possible outside cycling, hiking, barbecuing, walking our dog, and exploring nature. I also love cooking, baking, and exploring new cuisines with my family.
